Natter Natter Natter, oh- shall we shoot now?

I have to say it was quite possibly the most hilarious shoot I’ve been on – and I’ve certainly walked away with more than pictures.  Mike is a very chatty guy- but in the most pleasant way and it certainly broke the ice when finally getting down to his other job (which after much confusion and jokes I’m still not entirely sure?!)

After a long drive to the studio, it was most welcome to get a nice baby coffee (two sugars milky) down me before we started to chat about how we’ll be spending the day.  To be honest – despite having a pretty set plan, it all went up in the air as we both got carried away with fur coats and lighting techniques!

I must say that it is well worth booking a shoot with Mike if you’re blessed enough to have the opportunity – I certainly know we’ll be working together in the foreseeable future!

Here are some images from the day:

Overdue update

After leaving my blog well and truly neglected over the past few weeks, I thought now would be a good time to post some images and do a small catch up!

I have been taking a break from modelling due to some personal reasons, hopefully at some point in the next couple of weeks I will start to update my MM account and begin to take in bookings again.
I’d like to take a moment and thank everybody who has sent me messages, I have been overwhelmed with the support from fellow models and photographers.  It’s certainly made me realise that it isn’t all about business in this industry, and even though I haven’t had the time to respond to many messages I’d like you all to know how appreciative I am.
Anyway, enough of all the soppy stuff and on with some photos!

Earlier in the year I did a location shoot with the very lovely Nigel.  Luckily, despite it being bloody freezing I was all wrapped up this time! The shoot swam by and we got some lovely images- I’m hoping to work with Nigel again and possibly on a regular basis.

Another shoot was with Jonny Rotherham – one I am going to be extremely patient waiting to see the end results, despite getting giddy about it now!  These shots were to be based around a more vintage style, and I can’t wait to see them painted up on canvass.  After receiving a preview of the images he’d like to work with I’m pretty sure I’ll want a copy of the final product.  Here are a few samples:

The images below are a few more from Holland, I’m just so thrilled with them I had to share.  Looking forward to working with Eric again hopefully this year!
